Watergrasshill U8 V Avondale U9

Today our under 8's, Brendan, Daniel, Dylan, Eoghan, Joseph, Ryan with help from Under 9's Jake and a young Alex took on Avondale Under 9's in two separate games. We started off going behind in our first game but two goals from Dylan proved decisive, in a 2-1 victory. In our second game, a spirited team performance and outstanding defensive effort proved to be in vain against a strong Avondale team and we went down to a 3-0 loss.

Rob and myself could not have been prouder of the teams efforts today, in both victory and defeat, in games against a team older than them.
