Sat Nov 12th – Under 11 Fermoy 3 WGH UTD 8

On Saturday we travelled to Fermoy with a squad of 14. As this game was a 'friendly' and much to many's dismay we decided to try some players in different playing positions the objective been to see if players are versatile,capable and understand the importance of every area on the pitch. Colm started up front,Paddy at right full,Ceadan in midfield,Eoin right of midfield,Ethan left of midfield, been some examples.While it did take them time to settle we quickly went into a commanding 3-0 lead. Fermoy to their credit never gave up and kept battling hard,with 20 minutes ago WGH UTD where 5-3 up BUT Fermoy were beginning to take control until Paddy now up front and Sean settled the game with two well taken goals,ending the game 3-8 to WGH.
