Feb 4th – U16 WGH (7) (2) Churchvilla

Our U 16 team got back to the league today and carried on from there last league game with a fine win at home to Churchvilla in poor weather conditions. We were sloppy at times in first half  but still managed to go in at half time 3-1 up with goals from Josh Cooke, PJ Dennehy and Ger Carmody. The second half showed a great pick up in play and more goals followed again one from PJ and a fine headed goal from Eoin Hornibrook Church Villa pulled a goal back to make it 4-2 but two outstanding goals from Adam Murphy and Connor O Brien sealed the game for us , well done to all, roll on the next game.
