In our first away game our talented under 7's put in a great team performance this evening in Donnybrook, Douglas.

This 9 a side game ensured everyone got a run from the start and from the whistle showed their intentions with several good passages of play from our initial keeper Denis to our forward line of brothers Ciaran & Mikey O Riordan. Mikey, our youngest squad member, got stuck in at every opportunity and certainly does not fear any older opposition!

Although leading 2-0 at half time we knew College Corinthians would come out for the second 15 minute start with nothing to lose BUT a solid & consistant 3 man defense of Tim, Shane & Jack had other ideas. Sam stood up & became keeper for the next 15 minutes letting Denis lead the charge with a strong and attacking midfield of Ciaran O Leary & Conor driving forward at every opportunity and showing no fear.

Despite conceeding a dubious goal, we continued to drive on & with goals from ,Tim, Ciaran O Leary & Denis it sealed a really good spirited team performance and victory.

For the last 15 minutes Ciaran O Rioran became keeper and made a fine & important save to ensure the opposition didn't get back into the game.

Man of the match goes to Tim for his overall play tonight from defender to attacker & on the score card.

Well done to ALL for playing in several positions & for each other
