Apr 12th – U15 Match Reports

U15 Division 3 Watergrasshill Utd 4 Fermoy 1

At a blustery Skehanagh Park last Saturday April 7^th  Watergrasshill United emerged victorious in the CSL Division 3 top of the table clash versus Fermoy. Playing with the wind Watergrasshill Utd started the game with great pace and tempo and deservedly took the lead after 15 minutes with a fantastic free kick from Josh Cooke that a Premiership goalkeeper would have trouble saving. With assistance from Dilan O Donovan playing excellently on the right wing Josh completed his hat trick before half time. Playing against the wind the second half was much closer with Michael Goggin scoring our fourth goal with Fermoy scoring shortly after that. In truth this was a fantastic team performance where all 11 players contributed to a good win. While we are now top of the table there is still much work to be done as our last 3 games are away from home with Fermoy and Macroom still to play.

U15 friendly Watergrasshill Utd 2 Leeside Knockraha 2

This good natured friendly ended in a 2 all draw atLeesidePark. Goal scorers for Watergrasshill Utd were Dylan Ring and Ronan O Keeffe with good performances from Brian O Callaghan and Conor O Brien. Unfortunately Michael and Kyle picked up elbow injuries at more or less the same time but hopefully they won’t be too serious.
