Aug 11th – U14 – Carrigaline Tournament

Today out U14's took part in a Tournament hosted by Carrigaline. In total 6 teams took part over this morning’s two seasons, glorious sunshine followed by the rain.

We took on Carrigaline, Corinthians and Rockmount and ended with one victory and two losses. This no reflection on the lads as due to holidays, we had only 11 players in total with 5 of these coming from lower age groups.

This is a lesson that as a club we have to learn, that to participate in these tournaments a squad is required. In our last match the lads were so tired on their feet and to their credit never gave up.

I would like to thank all parents who travelled and especially the lads for their efforts.

Training continues on Tuesdays 7 -8.15.   2 Euro per session.
