Sept 24th – U13 Ballincollig (2) V (4) Watergrasshill United

On Sunday Sep. 23 we travelled to Ballincollig in a league game.

We started this game very well having all the play for the first 10 minutes. Ballincollig had a very pacy midfielder who caught us on the break with 15 minutes gone and with a goal mount scramble we conceded the first goal. Ballincollig 1-0 WGH. However we reacted very positively and within minutes Padraig O Brien got our first of the match. Ballincollig 1-1 WGH. With 27 minutes gone Padraig O Leary scored an excellent goal to put us ahead at half time Ballincollig 1- 2 WGH.

We started the second half in the same tone as we finished the first half and with 40 minutes gone Sean Desmond got our third of the day. Ballincollig 1 - 3 WGH. While we were always in control of the game with 50 minutes gone we were caught on the break again and Ballincollig got their second of the day. Ballincollig 2-3 WGH. In the last few minutes of the game Colin Cronin secured victory for us with our fourth goal of the day. The game finished Ballincollig 2-4 WGH.
