As can be seen from the above scores the WGH Utd U16s had an easy win in the cup followed by two defeats in the league by table toppers Ballincollig and Everton. The reality in the league games is that in both of these games we played fairly well but a little inexperience and a very tight panel meant we lost both games with very harsh looking scorelines. Over the last 4 seasons the team has gone from Div 6 to Div 1 in the CSL which is a remarkable achievement in itself and it is to be expected that the going will be tough in Division 1. Nevertheless the team is improving weekly and once other codes finish up we should increase our numbers and face the rest of the season with confidence. Keep the faith lads!!
