Oct 30th – Under 10’s

Our Under 10 team played last Sunday morning against Riverstown at the Riverstown pitch.

We had a very good turn out as 14 of our squad turned up and thank you to the parents for getting on the road early on a Bank Holiday Sunday....not easy

We are getting very near the lads starting in the Cork School Boys League and so on Sunday we played on a full size pitch for an hour to see how they would get on....they did not disappoint, we played a proper formation and stuck to it and after going 1-0 down, we got our game together to lead at one point 1-4.

In truth all our matches against Riverstown have been close and they pegged us back to finish all square at 4-4..a great match, well done lads, our scores came from Ian O'Callaghan, Colin O'Keeffe, Sean Murphy, Dean Russell

Thanks to Marcus O'Reilly for setting up the match and for taking the last few training sessions

Thanks also to Paul Walsh for helping with the last few training sessions and for bringing the lads to Cobh last week for our first friendly of the year against Springfield......Thanks for all the help lads it's really appreciated.
