Players wanted for over 30’s Andy McGrath Charity Cup this Saturday

Watergrasshill united are taking part in the inaugural Andy McGrath Charity Cup at Carrig Park, home of Fermoy FC, on Saturday the 6th of April.

The competition will be a 7-aside tournament for over 30's. The stars, and wannabe stars, of yesteryear will reel in the years and battle it out to claim the cup!! Many players retire and then talk about how great they once were so this will be their chance to for people to back up their talk!!

The competition is a fundraiser for two great causes, Cardiac Research and The Marymount Hospice, so we are encouraging as many people as possible to support the event. There will be a social event after the day's action, in the Wagon tavern that evening with hot food and spot prizes. Music on the night will be provided by D.J Stevie, all are welcome.

We are looking for players (over 30’s) that can join our “Hillbillies” team on the day. Our colour for the day is blue. €10 per player with all proceeds going to the charities above.
