Watergrasshill U7 Tigers and Panthers travel to Ballyvolane to take on Leeds AFC

Our U7 Panthers and U7 Tigers did our club proud yesterday when they traveled to Ballyvolane to take on Leeds AFC. Our Panthers fought hard to keep the sides level having been well ahead in the first period only to see a determined Leeds side come back and finish the match all square. A very competitive game, between two equal and eager groups of 6 year olds, providing end to end excitement. Final score Leeds AFC U7 (6) - Watergrasshill United U7 Panthers (6)

Our youngest Under 7 tiger team put in a solid performance and provided great entertainment to the parents and other supporters. Well done lads you showed the true spirit of our soccer club.

A special word of thanks to Leeds for two very sportive games and most of all thanks to all parents and other Watergrasshill United supporters for encouraging the lads from the side line.

Training continues each Tuesday evening, all player's to be at pitch for 6.30pm. €2 contribution towards Skehenagh Park development
