Watergrasshill National School Sponsored Tree

The School roundabout got a makeover yesterday evening, thanks to the Family Fun Weekend Committee!!

To mark the success of the Family Fun Weekend, the committee sponsored the planting of a Lime Tree - Tilia Platyphyllos, which is a native Irish tree and a selection of shrubs on the roundabout.

Well done to those that arranged this, it looks fab, and will help us remember the success of the June Bank Holiday weekend 2013.

Thanks to Pat Mc Hugh for his JCB skills, Moss Mc Hugh for having "everything" in the back of his car, Derry for educating us on various aspects of horticulture, John & Paul as helpers & of course Joanne for her supervisory management skills....!
