U10 Watergrasshill Utd (3) V (3) Douglas Hall

Our U10's got out of jail today with two goals in the final period from Dylan R to earn a well deserved draw with Douglas Hall U10's. In an exciting final period we threw everything at Douglas to pull the score back to 3 - 3. The lads can be very proud of themselves for this performance. The game started off well for us with Eoghan giving us a 1-0 lead in the first period. With a squad of 17 the 11 who took the field for the first period was based on training attendance and rotation for the other lads ensured all players played at least 30 minutes today. At times we struggled with Douglass passing but with shear effort and determination we grounded out a draw today. Attendance for training yesterday was excellent with 16 in attendance our highest this season so far. These matches we having being playing are to get the lads ready for next season when they will go 11 aside full pitch but the groundwork needs to be done on the training pitch. Due to myself and Rob not being available next Saturday, training will take place Friday at 6.30pm to 7:30pm. Match at home next Sunday against Watergrasshill U12 girls. 3pm KO. Text messages will follow to confirm both. Scorers: Eoghan K., Dylan R (2) Thanks to Chris for refereeing the game, a hard thing to do. Final Score: Watergrasshill United U10 (3) v (3) Douglas Hall Today's Team: Eoghan K, Eoin, Dylan R, Brendan, Joseph, Sam, Darragh, Dylan F, Rory, Adam, Daniel, David, Nicky, Eoghan, Ben, Ronan, Ryan Thanks to all parents for your support today..
