Watergrasshill U16 Festive Tournament

Four teams kicked of at 11:00 this morning, Sunday 29th December, in our U16 Festive Tournament
The teams confirmed for our festive U16 tournament were Valley, Ardmore, Carrigaline and Watergrasshill
We played 3 x 30min games, Top 2 played in cup final and other 2 teams played in plate final (final 40mins)

Due to the weather over the last few days we had to move the tournament to the GACA pitches in Glanmire

Watergrasshill United played Carrigaline in the 1st game which we won 2-0
In the second game we played Ardmore which we won 2-0
In the 3rd game we played valley which we won 3-0
In the cup final we drew 0-0 with carrigaline but lost 2-1 on penalties
We played 4 games and lost none well done lads on a great team performance in all 4 games.

Final Results:

Carrigaline were crowned Cup winners after beating Watergrasshill United 2-1 on penalties (after 0-0)

Ardmore were the Plate winners after beating Valley 2-0

A special word of thanks to all the teams that traveled .. parents and supporters for braving the severe weather conditions.
