U14 Local Cup Watergrasshill Utd (0) V (2) Park

Credit must be given to all those who attended our U14 Cup match against Park this morning especially the players and Referee who endured horrendous playing conditions from the cold to the rain, the wind to the hailstone. Twice the players had to come off due to the conditions, the third time we came off was a mistake as the Referee only gave a free. In a match that was due to be played in Park, it was re arranged to our home pitch due to unavailability of Parks pitch. We played the first half with the wind and it didn't work in our favour going in at half time 1 Nil down. The second half was a different story and the lads to a man stood up and gave it their all. To go close so many times and not score was an injustice to them. Park on the break added a second to leave the final score - Watergrasshill United 0 Park 2.
