GLENHILL TUG OF WAR CLUB

We are delighted to announce Glenhill TOW Club will also partner Watergrasshill United in this year's ROSS's Centra Summer Camp, Monday 30th June - Friday July 4th inclusive. Glenhill Tog Of War Club are based in Watergrasshill and are affiliated members of the Munster and Irish Tug of War Association. Some of their members will attend our camp on a chosen day/time (TBC) to show all participants how it's done professionally & in a fun environment. We all have knocked great craic out of tug of war over the past few camps... Follow the Club on their Face Book Page. Thanks Tom & Co. for their support. Glenhill compete at Outdoor Tug of war, which is a team sport with 8 men on each team. Its a weight based sport so there are weight categories to suit all people. They are currently competing at Senior and Division 2 categories at National level and have most recently competed at the European Championships 2013 in Holland and the World Championships in Switzerland 2012. The Season runs from April to September each year and training consists of fitness, weight work and rope work. They train twice a week with competitions on Sundays.
