Under 11 Update

We're right in the mix at a crucial point in the season and games take on more importance as we progress.

In the Local Cup we have now reached the semi-final after we beat Riverstown 0-1 in the last 16 and Douglas Hall 0-2 in the quarter final. We're away to Rockmount this Tuesday (April 29th) for a 7 o'clock kick off and a win would take us to Turners Cross the following week.

The wins against Riverstown and Douglas Hall were special nights for us and anyone who has followed our progress this season will have seen again the qualities that our squad have within them to take on teams from higher divisions.

We remain top of Division 2, and this Thursday we are away to Ballincollig in a top of the table clash which could be a decider as to who will eventually take what has been a tight race between Ballincollig, Bandon and Watergrasshill.

For any team to be successful you must have a squad of players, if you can call on a player to come on and do a holding, or a man marking job even for the last 10 minutes, well it's those kind of things that can get you over the line.

So again we say thank you to the entire squad, hope to see as many club members as possible in Rockmount on Tuesday.
