Youghal Utd Afc U10 (2) – Watergrasshill United U10 (4)

Our Watergrasshill United U10 team took on the Youghal U10s on their pristine Ardrath grounds. In our 5th CSL Small Sided League (SSG) match we played 4 times 12 minutes, 11v11, box to box on a full size adult pitch in preparation for next year.

We put in a solid performance and managed to finish the first two periods with a 3-0 lead. Goals from Dylan F, Eoghan and Joseph. We made some changes in the team to give all equal playing time at half time and Youghal came back fighting and scored a goal, followed by a quick answer from Eoghan. 1-4. We ended the third period 2-4. The last period we closed shop and showed some solid defending and were unlucky in the finishing at the other side of the pitch.
