4 WINS IN INTER LEAGUE GAMES FOR CORK YESTERDAY

Cork won all their four home inter league games yesterday (11/01/2015) in Blarney. Congratulations to Ben, Bradley and James who all played a mayor part in the Cork Games.

Under 12 Inter League - Cork 8-0 Limerick County
The U12s kicked off with a comprehensive 8-0 win over Limerick County. An early Bradley Walsh (Watergrasshill United) goal followed quickly by the second from Ben Nodwell (Watergrasshill United) set the tone for the day. Further goals from Bradley and Ben made it 4 - 0 after 15 minutes and a Conor Hanlon (Buttevant) effort made it 5-0 to Cork at half time.
Captain Oran Crowe (Ringmahon Rangers) scored immediately after half time and Mel Deasy (Lakewood Athletic) added two more to make the final score 8-0 to Cork.

U13 Inter League - Cork 5-0 Limerick County
Ronan O'Brien (Blarney United) stole the scoring honours in this game with all 5 goals. Ronan scored 4 in the first half, the second one being an absolute beauty, and added his and Cork's fifth
towards the end. James O'Leary (Watergrasshill United) played as number 10 in midfield.

U15 Inter League - Cork 1-0 Waterford
In a tough, uncompromising game between two well matched teams, Beineon O'Brien Whitmarsh (Corinthian Boys) crashed in the all important goal early in the second half for a great Cork win.

U16 Inter League Cork 2-1 Waterford
Yet another tough game between two well matched sides. Cork had some great chances in the first half but passed them all up to leave the game scoreless at half time. Waterford went into the lead in the second half, but to their great credit, the Cork lads upped the ante and Alex Connolly (Tramore Athletic) fired home a fine equaliser. Captain Thomas O'Donovan (Rockmount) leading by example once again, headed home the winner with a few minutes left.
