U11 reach last 16 in Local Cup

Our Watergrasshill United U11s reached the last 16 of the local cup this Sunday morning Feb 8th by a solid win over Youghal U11a. Pressuring the Youghal defence from the kick off we saw some great passing in midfield from Cillian, Eoghan, Dylan R, Rory (C), Dylan F and Nicky in the first half resulting in 6 goals and plenty of near misses. Our backs Daniel, Darragh, Adam and Brendan, showed some solid defending and kept a clean sheet helped by some solid keeping from Ronan and Joseph. In the second half we changed most of the positions and 4 more goals were added to the match card. Well done lads in reaching the last 16.
