U8s Update….

While it was lashing rain in the hill, 2 U8 teams travelled to Carrigtwohill to participate in the Coerver Small Sided Games blitz. In what turned out to be an OK afternoon, weather wise, both our U8 teams were undefeated after the first two games. In the deciding game the 2 Watergrasshill teams played each other and they kept it level. 2-2 final score. Thanks to all parents and grand parents for bracing the elements and supporting the lads in Carrigtwohill.

Small Sided Games (SSG) League starting april 10/11

We will travel one more time to Carrigtwohill in March before we start preparing for the CSL small sided games. The SSG league will start on the weekend of April 10/11 and will run till June 12/13 ...10 weeks of 5 a side games, home and away. We will sign up 4 teams who will play on one full sized pitch in quarters to have 4 by 5 a side games going on at the same time. Teams will alternate every 15 minutes so that all 4 home teams play all 4 away teams.

In the month of July a certain number of players from each club entered at U8, U9 and U10 will be invited to attend coaching sessions under the leadership of Niall O'Regan as an initial CSL Player Development Pathway for these specific age groups.
