U11 Watergrasshill United (4) V (2) Crosshaven

What is the start of a busy week for the lads, we meet Crosshaven at home. We got off to a flying start with a goal in the first 2 minutes through a free kick from Dylan. The lead didn’t last long and within 5 minutes Crosshaven had equalised. In an evenly matched game, Adam restored our lead from a corner on the 16th minute to leave it 2-1 at HT. Another early goal by Cillian, again as a result of a corner gave us a bit of a cushion but Crosshaven with some good passing movements were still in the game. Dylan extended our lead before Crosshaven pulled a goal back to make the final score 4-2. We have now 6 outstanding League games to go and currently sit in 2nd place behind Macroom (With 2 games in hand) who we meet on Monday night.
