Another win for the U11a's earlier this evening in Macroom. We had to wait until the last few minutes of the first half for the goals. Seweryn in the 28th minute followed by another one 30 seconds later straight from the intercepting the ball from the centre spot. Macroom got one back in the last minute of injury time. Half time score: Macroom U11a (1) - Watergrasshill United U11a (2). It was Jake's turn in the second half and within 15 minutes we increased our lead to 1-3 followed by a quick comeback from Macroom. Another goal from Jake after a precision pass from Seweryn made it 2-4. Macroom upped the pressure and scored the 3-4 with just 5 minutes to go. All hands on deck in the last 5 minutes as macroom put us under serious pressure. Big relief from all when the ref blew the whistle. Final Score. Macroom U11a (3) - Watergrasshill United U11a (4)
