We played Midleton A, who are currently on a good run with a few games in hand. We controlled the game from the off and took a deserved lead within the first 10 minutes through Jack. Midleton started to come more into the game and pulled a goal. Lack of concentration resulted in Midleton taking the lead when there player had a clear run on goal. It stayed that way until the break. HT 2-1 We were still in this game but early goals from Midleton helped them pull away to a 4 -1 scoreline. The fighting spirit launched the lads to all our attack and Seweryn pulled a goal back. We at time left ourselves open and Midleton punished us again to leave a final scoreline of 5 – 2. We have 3 games remaining in what has been a great season so far for us.
