It was back to the league tonight after the Cup Final and Richmond were the visitors. With our full squad available, it was an opportunity for us to focus on the league. We currently stand 6 points behind Macroom with 2 games in hand. This was our 21st competitive game and a milestone achieved tonight when Adam scored our 100th competitive goal and what a goal it was with the outside of his left foot. Brendans goal gave us a comfortable lead at HT - 2-0. We enjoyed most of the play but struggled to deal with a determined Richmond side who’s tackling at times was questionable and left a few lads with sore legs. Richmond pulled one back towards the end and we hung on to 2-1 victory. We have now 5 outstanding League games to go and sit 2nd in the table.
