Support Walk for Life

Once again, Derry Desmond and his Walk for Life organisation are organising a Knockmealdown Family hike on Sunday August 2nd @10.00am in aid of Development Pamoja. This Family Hike of Knockmealdown mountains should take no more than 3 hours and is a Family Friendly Hike (Suitable for all ages 7 years up). Last years event was a very enjoyable day, with over 50 people taking part . €20 per head or €40 per family or what ever you can afford. All donations welcome. All funds raised go directly to development Pamoja where every euro raised is put to good use on the ground in Kenya. Check out WWW.DEVELOPMENTPAMOJA.ORG for more details.

24 HOUR WALKATHON

Following the success of Last Years 24 hour Walkathon of the Watergrasshill Village loop where over 150 people Joined Pips and Derry throughout the course of the day, another 24 Hour Walkathon will be held from 1pm on the 29th to 1pm on the 30th of August. The main aim is to get people to walk 1 hour only and make a donation as they see fit and raise awareness of Development Pamoja and the benefits of just getting out there enjoying Nature with Family and Friends.
