Our Division 1 U12 team made it 4 in a row this afternoon after well deservingly beating Crosshaven 5-1. Again, much improved gameplay over last week with some great passing and plenty of goals. On the wet and windy Skehanagh pitch it took us 7 minutes before Eoghan put the first ball in the net. A shot from the left hand side after a precise pass from Dylan. We had the better of the game for the rest of the half but we were unlucky in the finishing. It took a long distance shot from Adam in the last minute to surprise the Crosshaven goalie. From his own half Adam hit the ball with his laces in the right bottom corner. Half Time Score: Watergrasshill U12 (2) - Crosshaven U12 (0).

Against the wind, Dylan R. lobbed the ball over the keeper from the half way line only 5 minutes into the second half. Crosshaven got one back from a corner kick. A well placed header beat our defence. 3-1. Some great passing play between Dylan and Seweryn put Adam 1 to 1 with the Crosshaven goalie. Adam didn't hesitate and placed the ball in the left bottom corner. 4-1. Dylan R. in midfield played a stormer and delivered the ball to Aaron who beat the offsite trap. Aaron outpaced the defence and finished with a cross in the left bottom corner. Final Score: Watergrasshill United U12 (5) - Crosshaven U12 (1)
