Buttevant U12A (1) – Watergrasshill U12B (4)

Our U12b's had an early start last sunday with a 10:30 kick off away to Buttevant B, our 3rd game this season, this time in the Albert Conboye Cup. It didn't take Watergrasshill long to settle and they had the ball in the back of the net after only 4 minutes in courtesy of a well taken effort by Darragh. Buttevant came back into the game after escaping the offside trap 1-1. It didn't take long before our striker in form, Colm, added another goal to his name. Shane set up Colm to tap in at the back post to make the score 2-1 in the 17" minute. Darragh added his second of the day only 3 minutes later. The second half was was a much closer encounter with both teams canceling each other out therefore chances were few and far between. 5 minutes before time, Ben lobbed the ball over the defence and Colm beat the Buttevant defence on speed and added another goal to his already impressive tally. Final Score: Buttevant U12A (1) - Watergrasshill United U12B (4)

Our next Match will be a League match away against Buttevant. Text to follow closer to the date. We will be organising car pooling to the match.
