U12s vs Buttevant

Our Watergrasshill United U12 Division 1 team had an early start this morning at home against Buttevant. We started the game with Ronan in goal, Daniel in the back line together with Dylan F, Eoghan and Adam, Seweryn, Brendan and Rory in midfield and Dylan R. up front. Ryan and Aron started as subs, but got plenty of playing time during the game.

We had a flying start in the 2th minute a cross from Rory from the right hand side was headed past the Buttevant goalie by Seweryn. Dylan added one in the 9th minute and another one through a well taken free kick in the 16th minute. The post (Rory) and the crossbar (Adam) prevented further goals in the first half. Half time score: Watergrasshill United U12 (3) - Buttevant (0).

The lads were still in half time mode when Buttevant scored in the first minute of the second half. We re-focussed, took control again and upped the pressure with Seweryn on the left and Rory on the right resulting in two goals from Seweryn (37th & 42nd minute). Ronan, who swapped places with Adam, added the last goal on the score card. Full time score Watergrasshill U12 (6) - Buttevant (1)
