Watergrasshill United U12B vs Kinsale U12A

Our U12 Div 7 team played Kinsale earlier today on what was a glorious morning. We started with Daniel in goal. Daniel, with a man of the match performance, pulled out all the stops and saved the ball over and over again. We started with 3 in the back, Eoin, Shane and Gareth, 3 in midfield, Ben, Eimantas and Eoghan, and Colm and Darragh up front. Kinsale put us under pressure from the start resulting in a goal in the 8th minute. 0-1. We had to regroup, switch to  a back and work our socks off. In the last second of the first half a well taken corner from Ben on the left hand side found Shane his head. His well directed header brought us back in the game. Half time score: Watergrasshill United U12B (1) - Kinsale U12A (1). In the second half we introduced Caolan for some extra pressure in midfield. Some unbelievable saves from Daniel kept us in the game. The lads had to work hard and give it their all for the rest of the match and we well deserved to come away with a draw today. Well done lads. Great team spirit.
