U12s away to Crosshaven

Our Watergrasshill United U12 div 1 team came away with 3 points in the bag from fort Camden after a hard fought victory over Crosshaven. An early injury from Aron in the 7th minute meant we had to reshuffle our back line and introduce Daniel to the left back position. Some great saves from goalie Ronan kept the score even until half time (0-0). A header from Adam 7 minutes into the second half and a last minute goal from Dylan R secured the 2-0 win. The post, crossbar, a few wides and some excellent goalkeeping of Crosshaven goalie Mark prevented us from scoring more but on the other side a missed Crosshaven penalty in the final minutes and some scrambles in front of our goal could have ended in a different outcome. Crosshaven made us work hard for it today. Final score: Crosshaven U12 (0) - Watergrasshill U12 (2). Today's goal scorers Adam (37" 1-0), Dylan R (60" 2-0).
