Carrigaline U12c (1) – Watergrasshill United U12b (2)

Our U12 Div 7 team played Carrigaline earlier today on their Astro. We started with Louis in goal. and 4 in the back, Eoin, Shane R, Darragh and Gareth, 3 in midfield, Ben, Eimantas and Shane M, and Colm up front. Carrigaline put us under pressure from the start resulting in a goal in the 15th minute. 0-1. We had to regroup, and moved Darragh up front and work our socks off. Our tactics worked and Darragh scored the equalizer 10 minutes later. Halftime score :  Carrigaline U12c (1) Watergrasshill United U12b (2)

In the second half we introduced Eoghan for Darragh, David for Gareth, Kieran for Eoin and Brian for some extra pressure in midfield. A header from Colm in the 5th minute of the second half secured the win for today.  The lads had to work hard and give it their all for the rest of the match and we well deserved to come away with a win today. Well done lads. Great team spirit.
