U17’s Finish Out the Season as Runners Up with a 4 – 3 Win

Congratulations to the WGH Utd U17 squad with an excellent performance this season to finish runners up in their league and win promotion for next year. The had only two losses all season and challenged their main rivals Lakewood A right up until the final game today with a superb come from behind 4-3 win away to Carrigtwohill. This talented squad are the first team in the history of the club to receive honors at youths level.

Well done to all involved , and sincere thanks to the Coaches Dave Hogan, Mick McCourt, Johnny Barton and David Feehan and the parents for their support .

Finally a special mention for long serving squad member Ceadan Hogan who has completed 10 consecutive seasons with the club .
