The Football Association of Ireland has updated (Aug 21) the Safer Return to Training and Safer Return to Play Protocols following discussions with Government agencies on the latest COVID-19 guidelines for Irish sport.
As part of the new Protocols, the FAI has outlined who is essential to the staging of games and adopted the Government guideline precluding all spectators from fixtures.
The Association has also confirmed that one parent or guardian may now accompany a child under the age of 18 to a training session or match and can stay during the session or match.
