Nov 4th – U9 Friendly Watergrasshill United (7) v (5) Carrigaline

In what was a cold and bitter day the U9's of both Watergrasshill & Carrigaline kept all spectators warm today with a fast and free flowing game of football. Tea/Coffee and biscuits helped as well.

We raced into a 5-1 lead to only be pegged back to 6-4 going in to the final 3rd. Final score 7-5.

I would like to thank Mick from Carrigaline and his coaches for making this game happen.

I would like also to thank all parents for their continuous support of this team. As I said to the lads today it's all about the team and not individuals and that encouragement is much nicer to receive rather than criticism of mistakes. We all make mistakes and what will make them better players is learning from these.
