U9 & U8 teams enjoy friendly at Fermoy

On Saturday the 9th of February our U9 team took on the Fermoy U9's at their Carrig Park in Fermoy. Since Fermoy U9's had over 20 players, our U8 team was invited to play a U9 Fermoy team as well. It was the first time we had all 12 of our U9 team together. Fermoy agreed to play 11 a side in both the U8 and U9 match so every player got plenty of match time. We saw some great goals and more important, some good team play and passing in both the U8 and U9 matches. The penalty shootout at the end of the match was a great way to finish the match on a high. Fermoy will visit us in Skehanagh park in a few weeks time for a rematch.
