Under 12’s

After missing 3 league matches it was great to get back to football today where thankfully the pitch was playable again. Blarney were the visitors and they gave us a great game which was what we needed after going nearly a month without any competitive football. We were 2 up a half time but the second half saw us under a lot of pressure and they got their goal early which made it a battle to the end. We held on for the win and to be fair we deserved it as we were a man down and no subs left to come on with 10 minutes to go and a further 6 allowed for injury time, this added to the fact that most of the Blarney lads were bigger and stronger then our lads. We took a fair few knocks out there today but that made the win that little bit special, great stuff lads.
