Fun Weekend Presentation

Representatives of the Watergrasshill National School Parents Association and the Family Fun Weekend Organising Comittee presented a Cheque of €32000 to Headmaster Pat O'Brien earlier today. The money, raised during various fundraising activities during the year, will be go towards the new Astro Turf All Weather facility. A great facility for the school and the Watergrasshill Community. The Parents Association and the school thanked all volunteers, sponsors, parents, students, Watergrasshill Clubs, Watergrasshill Community and all others for their contribution so far. Watergrasshill United volunteers helped out during the Family Fun Weekend and half of the monies raised with the Family Fun Weekend Academy Tournament and the Over 35's tournament was presented to the Family Fun Weekend Organising comittee. 

More fundraising events are being planned by the Parents Association to raise the final funds. On June 27 the Watergrasshill GAA in conjunction with the Watergrasshill AC are organising a fun morning, On July 3rd Darragh Lee and Pat Kane have a benefit concert in the first fruits arts centre and 23rd October 2015 sees The Kube.
