Watergrasshill United U12 Div 1 vs Greenwood

Our Watergrasshill United U12 Div 1 team made the trip to Greenwood for the 2nd time this season. This time without Nicky, we started the game with Ronan in goal, Daniel in the back line together with Dylan F, Eoghan and Adam, Seweryn, Brendan and Rory in midfield and Dylan R. up front. Joseph and Aron started as subs, but the heavy Greenwood pitch meant we used plenty of subtitutes during the game.

We controlled the game from the start and in the 6th minute a pass through the middle from Brendan surprised the Greenwood backs and Dylan chipped the ball over the Greenwood goalie. 0-1. We upped the pressure with Seweryn on the left and Rory on the right but the solid Greenwood defence, the heavy bumpy pitch and the Greenwood goalie stopped us from adding another goal in the first half. Half time score Greenwood U12 (0) Watergrasshill U12 (1).

The second half was a copy of the first until Seweryn escaped on the left hand side and surprised the goalie with a fantastic goal in the 49th minute. 0-2. We played out the rest of the match comfortably maintaining a clean sheet.
