Jan 14th – Under 15 – WGH 3 Midleton 2

Watergrasshill United u15s had an excellent 3-2 win at home to Midleton A in the league over the weekend. At a cold and blustery Skehanagh Park against a physically big and tough side this was a great team win where hard work, good effort and some nice soccer were thankfully rewarded. Goalscorers on the day were Dilan O Donovan, and Kyle Cronin (2). This takes the team to 2nd in the league table and sets us up nicely for the rest of the season. It was disappointing not to be able to give all the players a run but the game was very much in the balance until the final whistle. Well done to all again and keep up the great effort.
