Mar 25th – Under 15 Watergrasshill – 3 Match Reports

The Watergrasshill United u15 squad maintained their push for CSL league honours with to put it mildly comprehensive 17-0, 13-0 home and away wins against Crosshaven and an 11-0 win at home to Ballincollig A over the last 2 weeks. No disrespect to our opponents but the matches were no more than pointless training exercises for us. Over the 3 games there were multiple hat trick heroes with many players having plenty of tales of glory for the grandchildren!. The defense can be equally happy with 3 clean sheets.  At this stage our CSL division is a shootout between 4 strong teams Fermoy, Macroom, Midleton A and Watergrasshill Utd. We are currently 1 point behind Fermoy and have a really tough fixture list left facing Fermoy at home and away, Macroom away and Ballinhassig away. Our next game is a top of the table clash against Fermoy at home on April 7^th and all support would be greatly appreciated. The mood in the camp is very positive and hopefully good performances and a little luck will see us pushing strongly for league honours. We would like to extend our best wishes to Aaron Collins as he is presently sidelined through illness.
